Astraware to release games for BlackBerry

They're coming later this year

If you're still only using your BlackBerry to reply to your boss's e-mails at 3am, then you're severely behind the times. Research In Motion's handsets are now bona-fide multimedia powerhouses, good for music, video and gaming.

Astraware is the latest games publisher to announce its move onto BlackBerry, following the likes of Gameloft and Vivendi Games Mobile.

The smartphone publisher will be releasing its first BlackBerry titles this autumn, including its Platypus shoot 'em up.

By Christmas, other games including Astraware Solitaire, Astraware Sudoku, Astraware Casino and Astraware Boardgames will follow, all available from the publisher's website.
