Head over to the Playstation Store today and you'll see Bishi Bashi Special is one of its latest additions.

Konami has chosen the game - originally released on PSone in 2000 - to be its first made available for download on Sony's store. But it won't be the last. The publisher says it will be releasing more of its classic PSone titles in the near future too.

The party game, which will work on both PS3 and PSP, comprises over 80 mini-games, similarly to WarioWare on DS and GBA, which go by names such as 'Juggler Panic', 'Burger Girl' and 'Ladder of Love'. All are taken from two of Konami's Japanese arcade machines - Super Bishi Bashi and Hyper Bishi Bashi - and test a player's reactions, timing and stamina.

When it was originally released on PSone, Bishi Bashi didn't sell as well as it deserved to. But following the rise of WarioWare, a retrospective appreciation seemed to emerge and copies now go for relatively large sums of cash on eBay. Its re-release on the Playstation Store then will mean no one has to miss out on the manic mini-game compilation.

Bishi Bashi Special costs £3.49 to download and is available now.
