Glu to make mobile game of Madagascar 2
Animal army heading for your phones again
Glu has announced a deal with DreamWorks Animation SKG to make the official mobile game for Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.
The film's due out in November, with the mobile game preceding it in October to build anticipation.
"Our production team is working closely with the DreamWorks team to create a vibrant and entertaining game that contains elements of the movie but has a storyline and game mission unique to itself," says Glu's Jill Braff.
The licence comes with a readymade supply of decent characters, so it should be good material for a game. Hopefully the result won't be another samey movie platformer, mind.
