Sifting through speculation regarding Project White Rock (working title) has become a bit of a past-time during the past few months – it's certainly confused some of us – witness Jon's GDC news report which managed to mix up its online trivia quiz with the official N-Gage launch.

But Nokia has yet to unveil any details on gameplay either, neglecting to even confirm an official title for the much-hyped game.

That isn't stopping it from teasing us with bits of information though, the latest of which comes in the form of a vial containing a white USB stick. On the portable USB flash drive sits what appears to be the soundtrack for Project White Rock. Clocking in at 25 tracks, the electro-pop selections share a common theme: gaming.

Track titles include 'Nin10do Raver,' 'Commodore Base,' and 'Krafty Noob' among nearly two dozen others. All make reference to gaming in various ways, some more obviously than others. 'Nin10do Raver' clearly alludes to Japanese gaming giant Nintendo (although we can't believe many of its staff count as ravers), whereas 'Power Up Pumpin' could be a loose reference to the power-ups that populate a wide range of games.

Could this imply that Project White Rock is a game about gaming? Deducing gameplay details from a soundtrack is reaching a bit far but there's also the evidence of that online game triva quiz and its special gaming-based audio take on American Pie. And what about the possible drug connotations – after all, this is a USB stick in a vial? Maybe it's just supposed to tell us that games are addictive.

But whichever way it ends up, having spent some time with producer Scott Foe – who was also the guru behind quality online original N-Gage game Pocket Kingdom – we know Project White Rock won't be anything if it's not innovative.
