Allgaeu-Orient-Rallye has a heart of gold

We wouldn't normally get excited about a top-down rally game, and while Baby-Soft's Allgaeu-Orient-Rallye might not look spectactular, it's got an interesting story.

See, when you download and play the game, the revenue from the adverts displayed at its start goes directly to a rally team called CarCamel.

It's taking part in the real-world Rallye Allgaeu Orient, which goes from Germany to Jordan. The money from the mobile game will support its entry, and help the team in its aim to do charitable stuff en-route.

The game itself doesn't have you driving. Instead, you're an 'oasis traffic policeman', controlling car traffic around a busy oasis.

There are three difficulty levels and an online high-score table. If you want to do your bit for CarCamel, check it out here.
