More mobile platforms for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire

Does this mean N-Gage, we wonder?

More mobile platforms for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire

Glu Mobile has announced an extension of its deal to release mobile games based on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

The announcement mentions new markets, including China, the Middle East, Chile and Venezuela. But most intriguing is its mention of "numerous mobile platforms".

Glu's MD of publishing EMEA Frank Keeling elaborates further (but only a bit): "We are pleased to extend our relationship to bring the franchise to additional territories and new gaming platforms."

So, what could those new platforms be? Symbian is a possibility, given Glu's previous release of Project Gotham Racing on that platform.

N-Gage is another candidate, although hopefully Glu would jazz up WWTBAM more than it did its World Series of Poker: Pro Challenge for that platform.

What about iPhone? We've seen some approving quotes from Glu boss Greg Ballard about last week's iPhone SDK launch and its potential for gaming, so we wouldn't rule that out either.
