Catch of the day?

Dynamite Fishing blast onto mobile

Fishing is all about patience. Or at least, that is what it's supposed to be about.

What it almost certainly isn't about is controlled explosions, nuclear blasts and gunships. But that's not to say fishing couldn't do with a bit more of that sort of thing, which is presumably why Handy Games is out to address the deficit with Dynamite Fishing.

From what we can gather from the trailer we've seen, the game is about as bonkers as they come. You begin with a bath tub loaded with dynamite with which you blast as many sea creatures to oblivion as you can so that you might sell their charred carcasses for profit. As you make a bit more cash and gain a reputation for ruthless efficient angling, the commissions for more exotic species come flooding in.

The footage seems to suggest that your dynamite-laden bath tub are but a humble beginning and later you progress to owning a military grade gunship tooled up with enough nukes to seriously disrupt marine ecosystems.

Besides the gloriously off-the-wall premise and solid sounding gameplay, Dynamite Fishing sports some adorably cheeky looking cartoon visuals and we're pretty excited about the whole quirky package feeling very cohesive.

One to look out for, then, though we won't have to wait long as it's launching tomorrow. Click 'Track It!' to catch our forthcoming review.
