Hospitals aren't glamorous places. Really. If that comes as a shock, then you a.) are lucky enough to have not been hospitalised in the UK recently, and b.) watch too many US TV dramas.

Yes, our doctors and nurses are dedicated professionals doing a great job in testing circumstances, but it would be unfair to suggest they're all wisecracking (Scrubs) eccentrics (House) who have gorgeous Hollywood Hair and a tendency for romantic entanglements (Grey's Anatomy).

Nevertheless, it's the latter that makes the subject material for Gameloft's latest mobile game, the company having scooped the official licence. You play as heroine Meredith Grey, and other characters, doing your medical thang in Seattle Grace Hospital.

It sounds like a cross between Miami Nights and DS title Trauma Center, since it's part adventure (you wander round the hospital interacting with people) and part surgery mini-games (scalpel, stitching, lasers).

Your aim is to improve your statistics to become a top doctor, picking up extra items along the way to help you progress. Hopefully the game will please fans as much as Heroes did.
