Disney's Enchanted to appear on mobile
It's got talking squirrels in it, which is a good start
Those of you with children or just an interest in kids' entertainment – you know, for research purposes, obviously – might already be aware of Disney's forthcoming Christmas film, Enchanted.
The narrative focuses on the chaotic adventures of Giselle, Prince Edward and Pip the squirrel, as they are catapulted out of the animated fairy tale realm of Andalasia and into modern day gritty New York City in a good old fashioned 'duck out of water' tale.
The game does take place in the fantasy realm of Andalasia, where you guide a troupe of lovable animals on a quest to find the various bits and pieces Giselle needs to recreate her dashing Prince. Doesn't seem to make sense in relation to the film's plot but, hey, we'll bet that if we were ten we'd understand.
To complete the quests, you undergo four different types of gameplay, testing agility, brains, speed and a fourth that'll remain a mystery for now. Is this the first branded brain train-'em-up/platform action adventure title to hit mobiles?
To be honest we aren't sure at the moment but, being a Disney release, whatever form these mini-games and arcade sections take, the whole package should emerge as a fairly polished affair.
The game is due for release before Christmas, alongside the film.
