No matter how many times we pitch our groundbreaking Sexy Bonobo Bowling idea to mobile games publishers, they still won't sign it up. They fear real innovation, that's why. Yes.

If you've got a better concept, though, now's your chance to get your foot in the door of the mobile gaming industry. Channel 4 has got together with Electronic Arts and the Golden Joystick Awards to launch a competition to find cool new game ideas.

It all happens on October 25th in central London, and sounds like it could be the Dragon's Den of mobile gaming, with you pitching your concept to the panel.

The judges include EA's Tim Harrison and Chris Gibbs, O2's head of games Despina Kaparaki, and Matte Locke from Channel 4. The winner gets £2,500 in cash and a 'hothouse' placement with EA Mobile.

"We can't promise that your game will go into production, but you will learn in depth about the games development process, including technical feasibility, design, marketing and global distribution," says the official site.

Fancy a crack at it? You need to write a 250-word outline of your genius game and send it to [email protected], including full contact details and a brief CV.

If you can squeeze in innovative features like location-based gaming, camera, multiplayer connectivity, social networking, motion sensors and audio, so much the better, say the organisers.

We're off to polish our idea for Sexy GPS Camera Bonobo Bowling Online, with a spin-off Facebook application and soundtrack featuring Lily Allen, Radiohead, and Dean Martin.

If you think you can beat us, bring it on. The deadline is midnight on Wednesday October 17th.
