There aren't enough games based on bands. Someone should institute a rule that if you're on the cover of the NME or Kerrang, you have to hook up with a mobile games publisher to create your own little slice of interactive entertainment.

After all, the Gorillaz shouldn't be left to have all the mobile fun.

Now, we can't claim to have heard much (i.e. any) of German band Tokio Hotel's stuff, but we like the cut of their jib in announcing a two-game licensing deal with mobile game developer Artificial Life.

The first is due out by Christmas, and will be out in English, French, Spanish and Italian as well as the obvious German. There's no news on what form either game will take, however.

Watch this space for details.
