Frankly, there are so many horse games on DS at the moment, we're beginning to feel qualified to apply for a job writing for Horse & Rider magazine. Not that we'd do it obviously. We have a sneaking suspicion that playing video games all day is more fun than raking muck into a wheelbarrow (which we assume all equestrian journalists have to engage in at some point).

Following on from yesterday's Horse Life, screenshots have finally emerged for My Horse and Me, a game we revealed back in July. The title is to be published by Atari and is the first game to feature the official Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) licence. That's a big horse sports organisation, in case you were wondering.

The shots show all sorts of horse action – with indoor and outside dressage events and competitions. Showing off your horse's form seems to involve tapping the jumbled numbers 1-8 in order as quickly as possible for maximum points. A little strangely, there's also a screenshot of Sean Connery telling you how to care for your horse's gums. Well, it looks like him anyway.

A release date for the game wasn't previously announced, but now it's been tipped for the end of November. Click 'Track It!' (or should that be 'Tack It!'?) for all the updates on this horsey simulation.
