The original Snood was one of THQ Wireless' most popular mobile games. Now the series is back, but with a new kind of game featuring the cute critters.

Snood Blaster sees you firing coloured Snoods from the bottom of the screen at others near the top, trying to create clumps of three or more to make them disappear.

If that sounds familiar, that's because it is. Well, it will be if you've played Bust-a-Move, Puzzle Bobble or any of the games inspired by them. Snood Blaster is seemingly the latest.

However, THQ Wireless has certainly been putting effort into making it stand out from the crowd, with seven different game modes to play, and a 'meta game' called House of Snoods, which "puts all the player's actions and achievements in context [and] adds a new kind of long-term planning to the game, binding several levels and game modes together".

It certainly sounds intriguing, so click 'Track It!' to be alerted when we get our hands on the game.
