The rumours going round the forums are true. Lair, a dragon-based action adventure/shooter from Factor 5 (pictured), has become the first PlayStation 3 title to be able to be experienced on PSP using the Remote Play function (a feature that enables content to be shared wirelessly between the two devices; until now this had been restricted to music, photos and video files, as well as access to the PS3 internet browser).

Granted, there is a considerable loss in graphical detail and certain command restrictions apply given the PSP's fewer buttons (relative to the console's Sixaxis controller), giving rise to some potential issues to be overcome.

Still, as a first indication of this potentially significant development for the PSP's increasing functionality it's obviously welcome.
