Following the likes of Diner Dash and Cake Mania, the DS is set to get another PC casual game in the slippery shape of the online hit, Fish Tycoon. Taking the virtual pet sim a stage beyond rearing and caring for creatures for your own enjoyment, Fish Tycoon, as the name suggests, enables you to breed and sell exotic species for (fictional!) financial gain.

Exotic fish aren't easy to breed, however, and you will need to know when to buy as well as sell, with new tanks, eggs, food, decorations and medicine all available to help you to rear whichever of the 750 available species you're looking to cash in on.

With lush 3D visuals backed up by options to set your own prices for fish and adjust the speed at which time passes, Fish Tycoon is looking like it might be just as hypnotic as staring at a real-life aquarium.

But let's hope, unlike Diner Dash and Cake Mania, it does a bit more than just being a direct port of the PC. After all, DS games are more expensive.
