Cow and Chicken get their own mobile game

Scottish developer Cobra Mobile is doing the honours

Cow and Chicken get their own mobile game

We haven't followed the careers of Cartoon Network toon twosome Cow and Chicken, but we gather they're fairly popular with The Kids. Soon, they could have an even higher profile, thanks to their new mobile game.

It's the result of a deal between Turner Broadcasting, which runs the Cartoon Network, and Scottish firm Cobra Mobile, which previously developed LEGO Bricks, Carol Vorderman's Mind Aerobics, and Sensible Soccer Skillz.

The deal, revealed in today's Sunday Herald newspaper, is for an action game to be released later this summer, with other games also under discussion. It's unclear whether Cobra will be publishing the game itself, or working with a larger publisher. Previous Cartoon Network mobile games have been published by Glu Mobile.

Meanwhile, Cobra is also about to launch its own web portal for people to download its mobile games. Called CobiMobi.com, it's due to launch in the next two to three months.
