Europe gets set for Stick Fighter Fury

Do you remember the awesome stick-figure fighting animations that were all the rage online a couple of years ago? If not, go here and bow down in admiration.

Anyway, the vids were probably a big inspiration for US developer Guppy Games' Stick Fighter Fury, a platform / beat'em up featuring several levels of sticky kung-fu goodness. It won several awards, y'know.

Unfortunately, it's only been available in the US until now. Happily, Guppy Games has signed a distribution deal with Twistbox to bring the game out in Europe soon.

Alongside it will be another of the developer's US titles, Andy Roddick Tennis, which puts you in the sponsored shoes of that guy in the baseball cap. You know the one. Big serve.

Okay, so we're not as excited about this second game, given stiff competition from Gameloft's Tennis Open 2007, and the upcoming Rafa Nadal Tennis from THQ Wireless. Perhaps if Guppy Games had put stick-fighters in it...
