Don't brick it! LEGO Racers is on the way
Hands On set to bring the blockiest racer yet to mobile
A game that blends LEGO and cars should be every boy's dream. If only Kiloo could've shoe-horned in some soldiers, a few creepy-crawlies, and a semi-naked Myleene Klass, they'd have a runaway teen hit on their hands.
Ah well, LEGO Racers still sounds pretty damn cool. It's a fast-paced racer featuring vehicles based on five LEGO themes: Pirate, Dinosaur, Space, Construction, and Arctic. Each has its own customised weapons, while you can also grab power-ups as you go round, like banana skins and missiles.
There are five terrains to race on, comprising 15 different tracks, and you can upgrade your car in between races if you collect enough coins on your way round. Something tells us Mario Kart fans will feel at home here.
Obstacles include oil spills and lava pools, and best of all (in our view), when you crash, the cars fly apart like proper LEGO. Rawk!
