Eidos launching new PRISM mobile game

Eidos has announced a new mobile game, and it's brand new, not being based on any of the publisher's existing console titles. The game's called PRISM: Light The Way, and it's a light-based puzzle game that's been developed by Morpheme.

The plot concerns some marvellously-named aliens, including the Glowbos (they're good), the Bulboids (they're also good) and the Big Bad Bhobail (take a guess). Your job is to manipulate light in order to save the Glowbos from extinction.

The game will have a mixture of beat-the-clock and battle modes to provide depth, and looks like it'll provide a welcome new spin on the puzzle genre without – praise be! – a coloured brick or ball in sight.

PRISM is out this week, and intruigingly is being released on mobile and PC at the same time (a strategy Morpheme discussed with us a few months ago). We'll have a review as soon as we get our hands on it.
