Medal of Honor Heroes trailer

Game footage finally emerges from the safety of the development trenches

Medal of Honor Heroes trailer

In the frenzied hell that is war, 57 seconds may seem like a lifetime. But in the comfort of your own home, it's just a frustrating waste of a minute while you wait for EA's Medal of Honor Heroes trailer to get past the vintage WWII footage and display some in-game action.

When it eventually shows up, at least it's not disappointing. Detailed graphics showing some of the game's 12 varied European environments display on-screen as the protagonist shoots and melees his way through the quickly edited sequences. It's enough to get a sense that, technically at least, everything appears in good health.

This impression is further cemented by the footage of the promised 32-player option, something of a coup for the PSP if it pulls it off successfully; the majority of multiplayer games on home consoles can't boast about having support for such a high number of players.

The game is currently expected to invade the shops on November 10th (the October date in the trailer refers to the US release, expected next Monday).

Our plan, naturally, is to intercept MoH Heroes and bring you a detailed report before it reaches the shelves. In the meantime, you can download the trailer by clicking on "Watch it!"
