Unless you're of French or Italian descent, the chances are that your love affair with the 2006 World Cup finally ended last Sunday with the departure of the Brazilians and their outrageous silky skills. (Eh? Zidane? – Ed). Thanks to EA though you'll be able to relive their footballing flair on your mobile phone in the form of FIFA Street 2.

Booting out the midfield struggles and tactical tediousness apparently so essential to real-world victory (no goal-efficient 4-5-1's here!), FIFA Street 2's four-on-four action is as much about showing off as soccer, with all manner of tricks, spins and dummies at your command.

Set to arrive later this month (in the hiatus between World Cup conclusion and pre-Premiership kick off), the game's creator is promising an intuitive control system and a variety of game modes, including the 'Rule the Street' challenge mode. It also boasts that the mobile version will capture the look-and-feel of the console game.

That seems ambitious, but hopefully it will at least capture some of the spirit of the PSP version, which we quite liked.

Click 'Track It!' to have us dribble past three defenders, spin 360 degrees in the box and flick the latest news over the keeper's head and into your mailbox. Or something like that.
