Pinball wizards should be tilting their eyes towards the latest news from Conspiracy Entertainment about the upcoming Flipper Critters on Nintendo DS.

As revealed earlier this month, the game will be set in a fantasy world full of strange characters (critters even) and perilous quests (all no doubt involving a metal ball hitting objects in sequence). Notably it'll also be the first to boast 3D visuals across both screens and now you can gawp at some more of these courtesy of the brand new pictures above right.

Hungarian Gamemaker Zen Studios have also revealed some interesting new game mechanics, with a topdown shoot 'em up mini-game featuring - presumably acting as an interstitial to break up your pinball antics.

But if that's not enough to rock your world, you take a closer look at the critters in action by checking out the video which shows the smooth 3D pinballing environments in action.
