Okay, we admit it, even if we didn't have anything new to tell you about Sony's delightful LocoRoco we'd still spin a feeble news story in order to be able to post new screenshots. It's that delightful!

But we're not quite at that point yet – we've actually got a few tidbits to accompany these enchantingly colourful images, which offer a first glimpse at some of the other stages (around 40 are promised) set to challenge the LocoRoco creatures, six types of which we've now been told exist in-game, each with unique voices and actions.

Sony has also revealed extras in the form of LocoHouse, three mini-games and wireless features that will be included in the finished title. No more on any of those yet, but obviously expect us to roll back with another update as soon as we hear or see anything new. (Remember you can download a playable level of the game from the official Japanese site – click here for details.)
