Tekken: Dark Resurrection

Fighting fun to be taken anywhere

Tekken: Dark Resurrection

Sony has announced that a PSP version of its favourite fighting franchise Tekken – now enjoying its tenth anniversary – is due to hit (and kick) the streets come this summer.

The game is based on the current arcade version, but aims to include substantial exclusive content designed to specifically suit the portable nature of the console. More exact details are currently as elusive as a ninja, although a wireless head-to-head two-player option has at least been confirmed.

Also already official are the 30 fighters (including new characters Dragunov and Lili) expected to brawl for superiority across 19 stages, as well as the option to upgrade characters with extra items gained when playing the game.

Current screenshots suggest a technically striking affair, although, in the same way that only a fool takes their eyes off an opponent when bowing, we’ll obviously wait until we see things in motion before saying any more.
