The UK’s number 1 selling mobile download, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, has gone all Tinseltown on us with the release of a new Celebrity Edition. Sticking with the winning format from the original, the game’s questions focus on celebrity gossip and Hollywood blockbusters. With hundreds of new questions, it adds an extra lifeline to the original Millionaire game that’s been riding high in the mobile game charts since its release in late 2004, though there’s no chance to play as a celebrity or any substantial changes to the gameplay. “Millionaire? was one of the first TV shows to launch special celebrity editions, so it seemed natural to take the celebrity theme onto mobile phones, where everyone will get the chance to show off their celebrity knowledge”, said a spokesman for Celador International, the production company behind the TV show.
