We previously told you that Aquaria was coming to the iPad in autumn, but we now know that Bit Blot's action-adventure title will hit the App Store on November 3rd.

In case you're unfamiliar with Aquaria, this side-scroller sees you take on the role of Naija, who travels between underwater caves looking for her missing family.

You'll encounter numerous obstacles and enemies on your journey, but these can be overcome using your ability to change your form. Songs learnt during the game will even allow you to alter the composition of the surrounding waters.

This iPad version of the game will include several new features, such as a mini-map that displays the locations you've already visited. This is to make the game more accessible to casual players.

While you wait for Aquaria to launch, check out the new batch of screenshots in our gallery above.
