Yesterday was the fourth anniversary of the release of the original Angry Birds game.

It's a day Rovio now labels 'Birdday' - holding a big event in Helsinki for children of its employees and others.

The growing influence of the company in terms of wider Finnish culture was also underlined as the company gave a bunch of Angry Birds merchandising to all the babies born in Finland on the day.

Weird as it might sound, Finland has a national tradition of ensuring new Finns start their life warm and well dressed.

The government gives the mother of every newborn a box containing clothes, nappies, blankets, toys and a mattress. Many babies even sleep in the box.
