The Witcher: Monster Slayer celebrates Midinváerne with in-game events and special holiday items

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is joining in on the holiday celebrations this season with a Christmas update. To celebrate the winter solstice in the mobile AR game, there will be new tasks for players to accept as well as in-game events to mark Midinváerne.

In The Witcher: Monster Slayer, players can kick off the winter solstice celebrations with a two-week in-game event. From now until January 4th, there will be more tasks about Ice Elementa in the Timed tab. Once players complete these challenges, they will be rewarded with the Incandescent Heart sword. This is the ideal sword to wield against ogroids, as well as when fighting Ice Giants and Ice Trolls.

Of course, during the second week of Midinváerne, Ice Giants and Ice Trolls Pop up more often. In the same vein, completing Timed tasks regarding them will reward players with more in-game goodies. You can also give away presents to friends, which contain magic sweets. These include Gingerbread cookies, Poppy seed cake and Hot chocolate.

Throughout the limited time event, there will be special items in the store, which includes sweets, oils, snowballs, gold and other holiday goodies. After all, even monster hunters need to celebrate the holidays with their best buds too, right?

If you're eager to join in on all of the festivities this holiday season, you can download The Witcher: Monster Slayer on the iOS App Store or on the Google Play Store for Android devices.
