The Room: Old Sins is finally coming to Android next month, but should we care?
Haaaah, sorry I couldn't help myself
We've been waiting for it - we know you've been excited about it - and after The Room: Old Sins came out in January, now we've only got a month to wait until it lands on Google Play. Hurrah!
In case you've been kept in a box for the past few months, The Room: Old Sins is the fourth installment in Fireproof Studio's popular 'room escape' series. Except that it's not a follow on from three and follows its own story.
Back when we reviewed it, giving it a Gold Award, we said "That Fireproof can still pull off shocks and surprises along the way is testament to its skill as a developer. That the world of The Room still remains one that you want to dive into, even now, proof positive of the overwhelming lure of the dark."
We also had a discussion about the game as a group here at Pocket Gamer, and were fortunate enough to hear from the mistress of mobile herself, Susan Arendt, in one of her earlier columns.
I may have asked the question (jokingly, albeit), but of course we should care about the Android release. Old Sins is a great game and needs to be shared with as many people as possible.
If you're ultra keen on it and can hardly wait, Fireproof's opening a beta test a pre-registration sometime in the near future, so we'll keep an eye out for that. Either way, you can get your hands on the game come April 19th on Google Play.
