Subway Surfers goes Back to the Future in a special collab event with the iconic film

SYBO has announced a time-twisting new collab event within Subway Surfers, letting players get their hands on a special "Back to the Future" experience across the popular endless runner. Made in partnership with Universal Games and Digital Platforms, the limited-time in-game bundle is a first for the game when it comes to teaming up with a film’s IP, and you can join in on all the fun until October 31st.

In the latest crossover event for Subway Surfers, you can look forward to welcoming Outatime Jake to the fray as he sports a "Future McFly Outfit" that takes inspiration from Marty McFly’s outfit from the movie. This also comes with a themed hoverboard to keep the spirit of the 1985 classic alive in celebration of "Back to the Future" Day on October 21st.

"As gaming and traditional entertainment continue to intersect, we’re honoured to introduce a film franchise as iconic as 'Back to the Future' into the 'Subway Surfers' universe for our first-ever film IP integration," says Mathias Gredal Nørvig, CEO of SYBO. "'Subway Surfers' and 'Back to the Future' have each earned loyal global audiences through the power of nostalgia and community fandom, and we’re excited for these two worlds to collide in the game."
