Sky: Children of the Light launches virtual concert with AURORA until January 2nd

In case you missed it, Sky: Children of the Light from thatgamecompany is still holding its ongoing virtual concert that highlights award-winning Norwegian artist AURORA across all platforms. Now available to watch for players on iOS, Android, PlayStation and the Nintendo Switch, the virtual celebration can be accessed without any tickets or minimum purchases needed.

In Sky: Children of the Light's virtual concert, players can expect to join more than 4,000 players as they bask in a shared musical adventure on screen. AURORA will perform her smash hit songs for 45 minutes - which include “Exhale Inhale”, “Runaway”, “Warrior” and others - every four hours until January 2nd.

Sky has always been an experience about connecting people and the concert is a further extension of that. With the concert, I wanted to bring people together to share in an emotional and beautiful journey that’s unlike anything before it. Collaborating with AURORA was the perfect avenue to take players on this adventure because of her ability to convey emotional depth while appealing to many different types of people. Her values were also so aligned with that of Sky and our community that it really felt like a perfect fit,” says Jenova Chen, thatgamecompany’s CEO and Creative Director.

When I said yes to doing this collaboration, I felt like I was saying yes to making something truly special that could really mean something to people, and ultimately connect people together. It’s all just so beautiful and it’s been an honor to bring this to life with thatgamecompany,” says AURORA.

If you're keen on experiencing the game yourself, you can download Sky: Children of the Light on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
