Sky: Children of the Light adds new narratives, quests and in-game goodies in the season of AURORA

A highly anticipated update from thatgamecompany has officially launched this season with AURORA in Sky: Children of the Light. Players can take a little sneak peek at the trailer in the embedded clip below to know more about the first-of-its-kind musical experience.

Made in collaboration with AURORA, the award-winning Norwegian musician and artist, Sky: Children of the Light's latest update highlights new narratives and characters as inspired by the popular artist. With mega-hits under her belt such as “Runaway” and “Cure For Me”, as well as Frozen II’s “Into the Unknown”, AURORA offers inspiration for new quests and themed items that players can encounter in the game.

With a new narrative told in music, players will be able to uncover memories of Spirits amid lovely melodies depicting struggles, loss and hope. More details about the Season of AURORA will soon be revealed in the next few weeks, but there will be Seasonal Candles players can offer in exchange for themed items such as capes and masks. Progressing through Seasonal Quests can also reward players with in-game goodies using Candles or Hearts, which you can learn more about on the official announcement blog.

For now, you can learn more about the interactive social play experience by checking out Sky: Children of the Light on the iOS App Store or giving it a go on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
