Overkill 3 won't be out until next year, but it's getting some spit and polish in the meantime
Which is good
Overkill 3, the less gun-porny, more shooty bang-bang sequel, isn't going to come out this year.
But don't get all sad and downbeat and think everything is over, Craneballs is taking the extra time to make the game better. As you'd sort of expect.
It's taking the extra time to play around with the tutorial, make sure the 30 or so levels it's already built are of the highest standard, and generally polishing everything so its shiny and full of explosions and death and all the thing you sadists want from your games.
There'll be a whole bunch more levels added as well. One will include a tank, because you can't really have a video game without a tank nowadays. It just wouldn't be proper.
You'll also be able to play cooperatively with a friend or a stranger in two-player missions. You can win in-game prizes by being the best.
We'll keep you posted as and when we hear something more concrete about the February release date. But until then, why not look at that picture of a tank at the top of the page and imagine yourself shooting it all up. Yeah.
