Fruit Ninja now available on the Android Market for free
Free pounding
Halfbrick has removed the price shackles from its hit fruit-slasher Fruit Ninja, releasing an ad-supported version on the Android Market for free.
This new download appears to include everything in full the game, including Classic, Zen, and Arcade modes.
Adverts aren’t on screen at all times - which is handy, given that you need the whole screen to see the bombs and fruit - but they do appear every time you finish a round.
However, given that a game of Fruit Ninja takes approximately a minute, you're likely to be finishing quite a few rounds per game.
Still, it’s free, it’s a Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winner, and it’s great fun whichever way you slice it (download).
