Clash of Clans latest Builder Base update brings a flurry of new features, including multi-stage attacks
Supercell has released a massive update for Clash of Clans, and it’s one that players have been eagerly waiting for. The superhit real-time mobile strategy game has finally released a new patch for the Builder Base with Builder Hall 10, multi-stage attacks, B.O.B the Builder, and a lot more tactical improvements.
Clash of Clans players can finally upgrade their Builder Bases to level 10, which opens up the doorways to a bunch of new features. Hitting level 10 will unlock a new X-Bow, the Electrofire Wizard troop, more building levels, and increased level caps for the Laboratory and Hero machines.
Those still at Builder Hall 9 will receive another set of challenges, which ultimately grant access to B.O.B, a robotic construction assistant. He’s a creation of the Master Builder who thinks he’s sentient. In-game, B.O.B serves as a permanent sixth builder and is a replacement for anyone who already owns O.T.T.O.
However, one of the most important parts of this update is the implementation of multi-stage attacks. This particular feature isn’t meant for lower-level players and will be available only above Builder Hall 6. It takes strategizing to another level as players must intricately customize their defences in order to ensure victory.
Another thing to look forward to about battles is the addition of new troop abilities. It draws some inspiration from the Battle Machine, giving players direct control of special powers. Of course, some abilities are still activated automatically, but a few special ones need to be chosen manually. These moves can offer both passive and active advantages.
