The 2D platform fighter Brawlhalla has introduced a brand new game mode in the latest update, alongside some smaller changes. This new game mode, titled Nightmare Horde Mode, takes the standard Horde Mode that was in the game already and ramps it up to eleven, making even the most experienced of fighters have to truly test their skills against horde after horde of gargoyles.

Brawlhalla is traditionally a 1v1 platform fighter in the vein of Super Smash Brothers, but for players who are looking for more of a PvE fight, the game has had a Horde Mode implemented for quite some time. Now, with this new difficulty option, Horde Mode can become a true challenge if you’re so inclined to give it a go.

The changes from the traditional Horde Mode aren’t too plentiful, as the primary adjustments are that now the gargoyles spawn in massive amounts and far faster than they originally did. On top of this, the creatures also have a bigger health pool, which makes the mode truly terrifying and tough to challenge.

On top of this new game mode, there are also some smaller additions with this patch too. There’s a new cosmetic bundle, the Nightmare Bundle, up for sale, alongside new Mallhalla items to purchase too. Fresh off the Valentine’s Day update, it’s clear that Brawlhalla is being supported to this very day, and shows no signs of stopping.

If you’re looking to check out this new difficult challenge and see if you’re truly as good at Brawlhalla as it wants you to be, then why not give it a go for free by downloading the game at either of the links below this article?
