Chapter 3 of Hearthstone's Galakrond's Awakening expansion is available now

Chapter 3 of Hearthstone's latest expansion – Galakrond's Awakening is now available, allowing players to earn a bunch of new cards to add to their collections. Like the other chapters in this expansion, there will be two different campaigns to complete.

One of those follows the League of Evil where you'll work to give Rafaam time to hatch his plan to resurrect Galakrond. In this part of the campaign, you'll unlock four new cards. One of these will be neutral, whilst the others will be for the hunter, rogue and hunter classes.

Meanwhile, in the League of Explorers portion of the campaign, you'll play the opposite side of the coin and try to stop Rafaam from carrying out his evil schemes. Similarly, you'll be able to add four new cards to your collection by completing this side of the campaign. One of these will be a neutral legendary card, whilst the others will be for the hunter, priest and paladin classes.

So it's good news if you like to play hunter then, with two new cards you can add to your collection. Of course, whether or not any of these cards will play a big part in the current meta remains to be seen. Sometimes a card can seem fairly good on paper but a combination of mana cost and other cards being used can mean it's not so useful in reality.

This chapter of Galakrond's Awakening can be purchased for $6.99 or 700 gold. Alternatively, you can pick up the Galakrond's Awakening bundle that includes all of the chapters for $19.99, which is a decent saving if you know you're going to play all of the chapters and don't want to spend your hard-earned gold.

Hearthstone is available now on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
