Games-come on
Gamescom has been a week so far of announcements, sneak peeks, and previews, and Feral Interactive has just revealed some massive Tropico-related news. Or, rather, some awesome Tropico gameplay.
If you missed out on our last couple of pieces, Tropico's on its way to iPad and it's totally been built from the ground up. In theory, that means that we should be getting comfortable controls, fluid gameplay, and a fantastic experience to add to our gaming libraries. If it's anything like ROME: Total War, we'll be grand.Get your first in-depth look at Tropico for iPad in our brand new gameplay video! You'll play as El Presidente, the leader of the resource-rich Carribean island of Tropico, and have multiple demands and factions to address throughout your rule. This new gameplay shows off the visuals, audio, new UI, and its touch-related controls.
It's looking pretty straight forward to control (i.e. moving around by dragging your finger and twisting to rotate). Though we still don't have a release date, only autumn 2018, the game's looking functional and nicely polished. Hopefully that means we'll get it on the earlier side of autumn.
